Toasted Pecans Without All the Butter
Here in South Georgia, we have numerous pecan orchards. Although my allergies are not fond of these trees when they are blooming, pecans are by far, my favorite nuts. Raw, or toasted in the oven, I could literally eat my weight in them! 🙂
I’ve noticed in the last couple of years that they are not always readily available in the grocery stores. But fortunate for me, I know some people who harvest them.
Recently, Scott and I got a bucket of them shelled and put them in the freezer to have on hand. Using a recipe from my Memama, we now toast them in the oven ourselves to enjoy whenever we want.
If you’re looking for a recipe to toast the perfect pecans without all the extra butter, I’ve got you covered 😉
