Spring is upon us here in the south, so I thought it would be fun to share a few spring decorating ideas for the season.

A cozy cottage living room with pops of greenery adds a touch of spring

My go-to each spring season is faux greenery. Adding small touches of greenery around the house is the simplest way to add a touch of spring even before the flowers are blooming outside. By adding faux greenery, you can be assured that it will last you all season long.

Kitchen open shelves styled for spring with bunnies and vintage finds

One of the first areas of my home that I style when the seasons change is the open shelving in our kitchen. I styled these shelves with greenery, vintage finds, and a few bunnies to welcome the spring season.

Another area of the kitchen that I enjoy styling for each season is the baking station. This vintage piece is the perfect spot to add spring decor to a tiered tray. A mini-wood ladder, faux tulips, and an Easter hand towel are the perfect finishing touches.

The chalk board hanging overhead was a DIY project from long ago. To make it, I just used black chalk paint to paint over an old print. I painted the frame with white chalk paint, treated the chalkboard, and it is used to display chalk art or wreaths each season.

This kitchen table centerpiece is made up of faux greenery, wood rounds, wood candlesticks, faux eggs, and bunnies. Without completely setting a table with dishes, a centerpiece is a great way to enjoy your seasonal decor longer.

There are so many ways to add touches of spring to your home, even before the calendar officially says it’s spring 🙂 After a long, cold winter, I think I can safely speak for most of us that we are ready to welcome the spring season with open arms.
